Keep frozen until use. Do not puncture these pouches. Always cook beans to 160°F before eating. Adjustments to these directions may be necessary to cook thoroughly.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS
  1. Open package and remove 1 pouch. Place unopened pouch on microwaveable plate seam-side up. Evenly distribute beans inside of pouch.
  2. Microwave on HIGH 3 to 4 minutes (5 to 7-1/2 minutes for 2 pouches) or until beans are cooked through. (Note: For 2 pouches, place side by side on plate; do not place on top of each other.)
  3. Remove from microwave. Cut pouch open and carefully pour onto serving dish.
NOTE: Times based on 900 to 1200 watt microwave ovens. Microwave ovens vary; adjustments may be necessary for your microwave oven.
STOVETOP DIRECTIONS
  1. Open package and remove 1 pouch. Bring 1/4 cup water to boil in 1-quart saucepan. (Use 1/3 cup water and 2-quart saucepan for 2 pouches.)
  2. Add beans. Return to boil; stir.
  3. Cover; cook on medium heat 4 minutes (6 minutes for 2 pouches) or until beans are cooked through. Stir, then drain.
Quick Thaw: To quick thaw for cooked recipe use, place beans in strainer under warm running water until thawed. (Beans should always be cooked to 160°F prior to using in uncooked recipes.)
