Keep frozen until use. Do not heat in this bag. Always cook pepper strips to 160°F before eating. Adjustments to these directions may be necessary to cook thoroughly.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS
  1. Place pepper strips in 2-quart microwaveable covered casserole dish; cover.
  2. Microwave on HIGH 6 to 9 minutes (3-1/2 to 4-1/2 minutes for half package) or until pepper strips are cooked through. Stir, then drain.
NOTE: Times based on 900 to 1200 watt microwave ovens. Microwave ovens vary; adjustments may be necessary for your microwave oven.
STIR-FRY DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in 10-inch skillet on medium-high heat. (Use 1 teaspoon oil and 8-inch skillet for half package).
  2. Add pepper strips. Cook and stir 6 minutes (4 minutes for half package) or until pepper strips are cooked through.
Quick Thaw: To quick thaw for cooked recipe use, place pepper strips in strainer under warm running water until thawed. (Pepper strips should always be cooked to 160°F prior to using in uncooked recipes).
