Keep frozen until use. Do not heat in this bag. Always cook Brussels sprouts to 160°F before eating. Adjustments to these directions may be necessary to cook thoroughly.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS
  1. Place Brussels sprouts in 1-1/2 quart microwaveable covered casserole dish.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon water; cover.
  3. Microwave on HIGH 6 to 7-1/2 minutes (3 to 4 minutes for half package) or until Brussels sprouts are cooked through, stirring halfway through microwave time.
NOTE: Times based on 900 to 1200 watt microwave ovens. Microwave ovens vary; adjustments may be necessary for your microwave oven.
STOVETOP DIRECTIONS
  1. Bring 1/4 cup water to boil in 2-quart saucepan. (Use 1-quart saucepan for half package).
  2. Add Brussels sprouts. Return to boil; stir.
  3. Cover; cook on medium heat 6 minutes (5 minutes for half package) or until Brussels sprouts are cooked through. Stir, then drain.
Quick Thaw: To quick thaw for cooked recipe use, place Brussels sprouts in strainer under warm running water until thawed. (Brussels sprouts should always be cooked to 160°F prior to using in uncooked recipes).
